I HAVE SO MANY!!

firstly, i have so many fav fics, and my extension, so many fav authors. so i will try to narrow it down to authors i know i've enjoyed multiple fics and for very specific reasons and ships when applicable

1. herothoup - top of mind, she's written my fav fic which is also the fic that inspired me to write in general! their writing style and plotlines are always so unique and interesting, among other technical reasons ^^ i've read most of her fics even before i had an ao3 acct, i should go and give all of them a kudos <3 top hits include root rot, starling, the sincerest form, when someday comes

2. in___flux - one of the most versatile seungwriters i know! he has everything, from dark fics to angsty plots, to the juiciest smut. it always feels very detailed and indulgent in the best way. i also liked the svt fics he's posted hehe :> top hits include safewords, never old enough for the shot (ongoing), scott and zelda

3. mazeofyouth - my fav seungchan writer <33 while i am a seungjin truther, seungchan is my comfort ship, and she has some of my absolute faves, she writes their dynamic so nicely (they have a whole series of fics for the ship)! top hits include you should be mine, something grows here (ongoing), does he know?

4. pickashoe - my fav 2min writer! 2min to me is always interesting bc of their love-hate dynamic, but with her, the ship is always feels fresh, and she makes each setting SO MUCH fun. (i may also be biased towards college aus) top hits include almond croissant, campus enemies online fantasies, only on fridays

5. quill_pen - lowkey a sneak (this is 1000% a joke). she is an amazing writer obv, but she's one whose brain i've had the privilege of peeking into basically on a daily basis. idk who else can pull out drabbles out of thin air like she does, too. top hits include so lets love (duh), on nights when the moon shines this bright, [redacted bc it's a wip]

hi anon! what a vague question ^^ any pairings, tropes, or AUs in mind? no? then let me indulge you (and myself) by laying down some of my favorite fics (not in order. also not an exhaustive list. that would exhaust me.)

root rot by herothoup - ot8 cast college au. i've reread this fic the most out of the ones on this list. this fic also inspired me to write in general. so i am here, and you are here because of them. thank logan everybody. i am also writing an ot8 college au but it is still being cooked in my omega belly. i apologize for the wait :3 (not really -- it's going to be SO long, i am apologizing to my beta as early as now)

campus enemies, online fantasies by Pickashoe - 2min enemies to lovers and seungmin is a camboy AH! i just reread this recently and yes i do love this so much hihihi the mix of lusting after the person who grinds on your nerves so much is such a delicious cocktail of emotions XD

you should be mine by mazeofyouth - seungchan college au. very slow burn but I LOVE it. "you should be mine" is probably gonna be top 3 punchiest lines i will ever read in fic. i still aspire to write something that impactful. i will probably never, and that's okay, because i can always reread this fic.

until we find love by ragingraven29 - seungjin college au (is this a pattern for me to like college aus? yes.) now this. THIS -- is a LONGfic. but i read every single sentence. and you should too. bc seungmin!fic writer is why. and it's also enemies to lovers. so there.

phoenix (my life is on fire) by bandable - 2min volleyball au. need i say more? yes? i love this fic bc it mixes two of my great loves (skz and volleyball). please go read it. it's basically haikyuu but it's skz and they fall in love at the end.

fridge magnets and hair bows by velooscuro - it's seungjeongsung. this is the most cutiepie fic a cutiepie fic has ever cutiepied. it's my biases (seungsung) and my wrecker (jeongin) all in the same love triangle. childhood friends seungsung but also BFs seungyang. the dynamic is so fresh and entertaining to me. pls go read it. they have a threesome at the end.

once, twice by jayjuly - an oomf (hi beca) tweeted about this yesterday and i remembered how heartwrenchingly good this fic is. soulmates au but also memory loss? the seungjinner in me was screaming the whole time -- seungjin will always find each other. in every lifetime. brb gonna cri rq

safewords by in___flux - 2min fic and it's probably the most interesting premise on this list (but not in my bookmarks) color check on you reading this fic? green. color check on you checking my bookmarks? maybe yellow. go read this! the feelings (mostly angst) are delicious.

devotion by spearbreaker - ngl this is a bit of a cop-out bc it's part of a series and this is the 4th one lol but it's seungyang and i honestly love the mature themes of this. basically, it's 'how far are you willing to fall into hell for the one you love?' seungmin's answer is yes.)

somewhere only we know by ImInTrauma (buildarocket) - TW FOR MCD because reincarnation but they WILL dai. seungmin centric ot8. AGAIN TW FOR MCD but this is probably the most i've cried for a fic.

so let's love by quill_pen & imdrtags - self-promo, duh. that's our baby. verse seungjin, anyone? add a dash of divorced seungjin, served on a platter of office au. ksm has a big di---. also, 4 fingers. never forgetti.
