oh i’ve actually answered this before he’s egged on and said stuff about shane in relation to homophobic comments but iirc not to his face in the books? definitely chirping would occur and what dallas kent said troy would parrot back often enough so idk man there’s not much interpolation to even make so it’s what you make of the mhl being based on a real league and so the dynamics that exist in the fake league do not also exist in a vacuum bc a lot of the hockey culture IS extracted from the nhl. but advice to u, always take fics/fanon with a grain of salt if you haven’t read the source material! mwah
