My favorite writer—the one who somehow managed to make my teenage years bearable. I was only thirteen when I started reading your AU, and somehow, through all those years, your stories became a small place I could always come back to. 18 na ako :')
You were the one who captured my heart through words and, without even knowing it, made me want to write too—to let my own words reach other people and hopefully speak to their souls the way yours spoke to mine.
I don't know where else I can contact or message you, but I saw what you posted on X about the cheating. I'm sorry if bringing this up makes things harder, but I just wanted to tell you something: everything that has been said about you does not define who you are.
I may not know you personally, but the way you bring your stories to life has always made me wonder about the kind of person behind them. To me, you seem like someone who is full of love—someone gentle, someone who understands emotions deeply enough to turn them into words that make strangers feel seen. Someone who can make people laugh, cry, fall in love, and feel things they didn't even know they were carrying.
Your stories were there during a part of my life when I was still trying to understand myself and the world around me. And because of you, I learned that words could be more than just words. They could be homes. They could hold people. They could make someone feel less alone.
So please don't let the cruel things people say make you forget that.
You will always be one of the reasons I started believing that maybe I could write too.
Hi baby.
I took time to read and comprehend what you just said because I really want my words to be able to reach you the way it reached me, so here it goes!
First of all, I want to say how immensely proud I am of you to be able to write your own poems. I always see writings of my au writer friends as something intimate as a diary, and for you to be able to put out your own makes me so proud of you. It takes a lot of courage to write. To write with care. To write with love.
And I want you to know that knowing how my words were able to reach as deep as your soul means more to me than I think I can properly put into words. Because if I am being completely honest, I don’t think I ever imagined that something I wrote could become that kind of place for someone else. I know what it feels like to find comfort in another person’s words, to read something and suddenly feel understood in a way you didn’t know you needed, so hearing that my stories were able to do even a little bit of that for you is something I will carry with me for a very, very long time.
And to know that my characters grew alongside with you within 5 long years is such an immense thing to be entrusted with, and I hope you know how grateful I am that you allowed them to become a tiny part of you growing up! That’s 5 years. That’s 5 long years.
I hope you never underestimate your own writing either. Coming from a writer, you have to always remember that it doesn’t have to be perfect! They don’t have to make sense to everyone. They don’t even have to be understood by anyone except you. They only have to make sense with you. So I do hope you keep writing your stories with that same tenderness :)
I love you always.
You are one of the people who are my reason to keep going. You are one of the reasons why I am who I am today.
