If you do it, how stressful is autism camouflaging? Or you don't do it?
Oh having to mask in any way is super distressing - I experienced that with my neurotype and my gender identity. Once I came out as trans I stopped masking both.
I will say that at least socially I am much more of an ADHD girl than an autism one (not that either is a monolith, but generally speaking).
Although even still, trying to be accommodated, at work for example, was impossible for me so I definitely felt a lot of pain there. Turns out a majority of people a very limited capacity to mentalize, at least in my experience - and it sucks when they're the ones who hold the power in a situation.
