What is Henry's fondest memory of Ophelia?
What would Frederick think of fried chicken?
Does charles participate in the rag trade? Does he ever steal little trinkets and gewgaws from people's houses? If he was invited into a life of crime, would he go 👀
charles does Not participate in the rag trade, not past occasionally selling clothes he can snatch off clotheslines that wouldn't benefit him.
he doesn't usually steal from people's homes, but he is an avid, and rather skilled pickpocket ! he thinks taking from people's coats or off their street carts is much less risky than taking from their homes, as there's more places to run, and less of a chance of getting caught and arrested.
he would NOT go into a full life of crime, as doing one information trade for some shillings when he was younger between rival street gangs left him with a broken rib! he thinks staying [somewhat] within the law is best for him, especially since he Does have fairly reliable work, and is very distrusting and choleric, too much so to work with a group of wrong'uns !
Which of your ocs are cat people or dog people ..
Charles: cat person 100%. he like how independent they are, and how they usually leave him be. sometimes he'll pet one and give them a scrap of his food if he's eating anything. cats are the Least pest-like of animals in his mind
Frederick: cat person, though he thinks most animals are rather inconvenient to care for... and he was taught the best use for animals are shooting and mounting them anyhow
James: dog person !! he loves dogs, might've even had one as a child. dogs are good...
Elizabeth: she likes dogs and cats, but dogs just Sliiiightly more, probably due to her brother's influence. but all animals are so cool to her !! big big animal lover
crimson: oc i haven't introduced openly yet scaryyy but she's neither a dog or cat person. prefers cats slightly more just because they usually stay out of her way.
ophelia: cat person... had cats when she was growing up and loved them so very dearly.
henry: allergic to cats and dogs + is a miserable human he's neither
What hobbies would Ophelia have enjoyed?
ophelia loved writing poetry !! her life blood, honestly. but that's more a Passion than a hobby. i feel as though she would have enjoyed sports and exercise a lot more if she had the opportunity to participate in such. she quite likes the outdoors, as before marrying henry, she lived in a countryside manor, with a large garden and, obviously, lots of open space. the godfrey manor has a greenhouse, which she used to sit in and try to help tend to when she could, but it wasn't the same.
With Modern Therapy would Frederick ever acknowledge his special gender feelings?
What's Frederick's greatest vice as an adult? What does he make of the vices of his social peers?
this may be shocking, but he actually doesn't really have any typical vices ! he doesn't drink, smoke, anything of the sort. he views drunkards as foolish, and usually lowly, if not acting the same as those below them. and he is not only unable to smoke without hacking up a lung, but intrinsically ties smoking tobacco with his closest servant, a nicotine fiend, and of course, charles. so no pipes or opium dens for him ! he thinks himself above such things... narcissist.
his closest thing to a vice is honestly probably sex, in an odd sort of way. something he views as a reason to not act completely proper. whilst he can never fully give up an idea [or persona] of dominance, sex is the closest he can get to 'letting' himself be submissive and not be so completely high strung as he usually tends to be.
of course, the only person he ever has sex with is charles, which emphasizes the fact that he must have some semblance of propriety and dominance, as to not lose their game [even if by their late twenties, the murdering aspect has ceased]. but honestly, charles 'wins' when it comes to such things far too often... and this stupid blonde wouldn't have it any other way.
tldr frederick is basically straight edge but finds comfort in the freedom sex allows, even if not a full release.
What kind of person does Frederick find most stupid, like I know everyone is stupid, but surely there’s a group or one specific peer that he ranks lower than anything else
anyone, but really mostly people at school, who really like sports. essentially, he loathes jocks. LMFAO. it's a sort of burning jealousy that manifests when he sees his peers that are particularly athletics-inclined. so, to distract from that self-loathing, he turns it into external loathing ! those interested in sports are just less intelligent than him. rowdy, witless, and cruel, nothing more ! he sneers and tells himself that he's much smarter than anyone who dedicates themselves so much to sports than to actual learning. sigh.
If a Dog followed Charles around for weeks would Charles get attached to it?
charles is Not a dog person. he would probably try to kick the dog away, honestly. he can't afford to feed anyone but himself !! but if a dog followed him for WEEKS... he's a lonely boy. he'd get attached, against his better judgement. probably would let it sleep with him on his ratty ass mattress... for warmth alone !! when he names it, it's all over. stupid boy adopts a dog he swears he hates
Has Frederick ever had a breakdown over an assignment from school because he is not as #smart as he wishes?
oh, most certainly. usually over things related to mathematics, as it's the only subject he truly struggles in. he never truly gets Poor grades, but definitely lower than the expectations he and school authorities hold him to. breakdowns usually consist of him rotting in his room and crying, as long as no one else is around. he doesn't even actually lash out at anyone, as it'd get him in more trouble than it'd help. sigh.
