hiii chel! wanted to drop smth sa revo bc i got to finish coding spikes today and I LOVED IT. actually, nakita ko na dati pa since bumalik ako sa pag-lurk sa ncity bc of jnjm debut (around february), but i read lang the specials, few tweets aus, and the fic first. i rly loved indigo and aspen's dynamic doon pa lang, and it was only around this weekend that i decided na basahin ko na yung au mismo. i was hesitant dahil sa built-in aversion ko towards angst when reading nomin (not just with aus but sa ao3 rin), but since i started it i wasn't able to put my phone down. lost sleep over it rin (i don't regret it). yung strongest point talaga was their characterizations, and how you didn't need a ton of "friction" to make indigo and aspen grow with the story. i really admire writers that are good in making their characters consistent and believable, kaya kahit hindi masasabing 'angsty' ang coding spikes, it's still really really good bc the things they did and words they said would make me think, "yeah thats def smth indi/aspy would do." i also loved that the story didn't end noong naging official na sila; the au's one example i could give to say na maganda rin ang fanfics and aus that focus on established pairs. it was nice to see indigo and aspen live their own lives as they were navigating their relationship, so re-reading the specials made it extra special for me. 🥹 dare i say, they've become my fave filo nomin pairing, i can't get them out of my head esp the fact na aspy is indi's first everything and nakikinig ako sa bagong album ni ari listening to it HAHAHAHA and i had to send it here. great work! hope u have a great day
