i reread slbr every few weeks and theres this thing (excuse the lack of lit terminology) you do where we find out things at the same time Kai finds something out. so its not like we’re all-knowing and aware of whats happening but more like we’re in Kai’s brain finding things out when he does, listening to his thoughts on everything and i just think it adds a little something special to the fic. because its a slow burn too i think it also exacerbates that feeling of being on edge all the time too so i really appreciate that omg i love the level of excitement this fic induces
aw thanks! im gonna be honest im not even sure how i would go about doing it any differently considering that kai is the narrative pov so it would be hard for me to include information that he doesn't know hahahaha but i appreciate this kind comment anyway, it's a tricky part of worldbuilding to try to skirt the line between leaving things unknown for your readers and explaining everything and im glad what i've done is working for you!
