Have you noticed? Revospring is now lightning fast! We've been doing a lot to improve the site. Thanks for everybody who has been a part of this site during its growth period. We're now stronger than ever and the experience has never been this smooth! See what's new

For a few days, some anonymous questions weren't reaching inboxes — which is also why the site felt quiet. We found the cause, fixed it, and recovered the questions we could. Sorry for the trouble. Read what happened

qotd: a deep one but do you think humans are inherently selfish? imo i think we are and even if you say you aren't that is still kind of selfish. everyone is somewhat selfish even if it is small

this might make me sound stupid lol but i dont actually think selfishness is inherently a bad thing. yes, obviously a lot of bad things r done out of selfishness, but the trait itself is something that every single human (and most other creatures) possess, and it can actually be helpful. if everyone was so automatically selfless that they would die to save one another, then everything would kind of crumble. selfishness, in moderation, keeps people alive and keeps the world going. its like the airplane thing where u have to put on ur own mask before helping others, if everyone is a little selfish and looks out for themselves then everyone will (theoretically) be ok
