i don't think my taste here is interesting... i really like black eyes, aesthetically, and they're fun to render. i would say i think about face cuts a lot... across the eye, across lips; i like different degrees of severity and how fresh the wound is. i actually really like all stages of bruising... something about the sickly greens and yellows it takes on as it is disappearing, despite this being the least severe part of the healing.

next favorite areas would be hands and ribs, I believe... i used to have a fixation on rendering cuts/scars ribboning around individual fingers, for a while ~(embarrassingly, a lot of my early fanart of chara was littered with this...)~ . oh, but, the ribbbssss are like my favorite part of the skeleton and torso overall. love ribs.... i enjoy the thought of them being accentuated with precise cuts contouring their shape. i think i prefer bruising to be around the rim of them, the space between.... i also like belly bruises. the gut feels best for stabbing/gouging. [shyly] i really have, the same inclinations for gore as an edgy dA kid really... mostly think about surface level cuts and bruising, overall. i suppose the only other thing of note is i enjoy at times when bruises line the spine. feels evocative in a particular way... the thought of staring down a girl's nape and back and there are bruises running along it...
