Hello Mods, I have a quick question.
I submitted a prompt that was claimed. So far, I haven’t seen the story inspired by that prompt.
I know there is a week left, but since I really liked it, do you think I can take it back if the writer hasn’t written anything based on it after all? ;)
Hi!! We still have a week and a half of reveals still to go! However, our prompt viewing sheet is updated to our knowledge. If it has been dropped, then you can certainly write it for our off-season if you'd like! However, if it has been claimed and written but the fic just hasn't been revealed, just wait a little longer!

hello wonderful mods! i just noticed that the fics that were posted today are, for some reason, not in the ao3 collection? like when you click on the link usually it would be under the collection if u know what i mean, but for the fics today they all are not. is that an ao3 error or?

Hello!!! It’s been nearly a month and I haven’t received an email yet about reveals and I know people from the later check-ins who have gotten an email. Not trying to rush you or anything and I’m perfectly content to wait (thank you for all your hard work), I’m just concerned that my work might’ve been added to the collection wrong or something since this is the first time I’ve participated in a fest before.

hello, this is me again who sent the AI allegation message earlier. after seeing your response and reflecting, I have realized that i made a huge mistake. I would like to apologize for hurting the author, mods and all the other people who were affected by my comment. It was unnecessary and very rude of me to say what i said. However my intention was never to harm anyone like I said before. But my intention doesn't excuse the damage I did. I'm sorry. I hope the author can find it in their heart to forgive me and my foolishness. I know I have no excuse, but I genuinely felt like it was ai. I am very ashamed of myself for saying that. I would appreciate if you'd post my apology so other people can know my intentions weren't to harm this community.
We really appreciate you communicating with us. It's not a bad thing that you spoke up, as we do value the integrity of the fest and cherish 100% fan made works. We will definitely share this with the author and post it to our page. Everyone can make mistakes, but not everyone will admit to them, so thank you for showing integrity in light of the situation. The mods hold no hard feelings and we would like to offer our own apology, as this is the first time we've dealt with a situation like this. Hopefully we can all put this behind us and enjoy the rest of the fest. Thank you again.

hello. i was the one who sent the AI 'allegation' message. apparently you guys do not believe me and are very defensive. I'd like to clear a few things first. if you read that fic, you'd KNOW that there has been an absolute use of chatgpt. And no, I didn't run it through Ai-detector. I just wanted to read because prompt looked good and was disappointed seeing AI. I wanted to give the author the benefit of doubt but i literally came across a scene where they used she/her for felix and in another scene it changed again. and a few more patterns+ writing style was AI-ish. I mentioned it to my other friend and they also said it seems generated. I don't have anything against anyone nor I was planning on "witch hunting" the writers. However it's up to you guys how you want to handle the situation. My intentions were not to harm anyone. In the end, I would like to say that this is unfair to the real writers who put efforts in their work while some use ai. Just wanted to get your attention on the topic. Thanks for reading and your patience. I hope we are good
Hello! The author in question was very agreeable and allowed us access to their docs as well as screenshots. The mods looked at MANY of their version histories, as well as read through their published fics on ao3 and we can say without a doubt, this fic was not AI generated. The mods looked over the fic and asked for second opinions from non-mods as well. The mods also looked at the consistency and quality of writing as well as punctuation usage between the plot and the smut and did not notice any inconsistencies which is common with AI generated plot and human generated smut (because AI won’t write smut). There is no solid evidence. Humans make mistakes and typos, and two opinions, even if you are convinced, is not enough evidence to accuse someone of using AI. It wasn't our intention to come across as defensive, and we apologize if our message did come across that way. If you'd like to continue this conversation with screenshots of evidence our Dms are open, otherwise we will disregard any future anons about this topic.

Are you guys gonna tell the author who’s been suspected of using ai? I know some people might get worried they’re being accused if they’re innocent.
We have already spoken to the author. If we haven't spoken to you, then you have no need to worry. We intend to keep all parties anonymous.
