Ngl all the changes they make suck ass. And the fact that it took them more than one year to release lorebooks, yet they are still missing a ton of useful features that even the outdated SillyTavern has. š«© The only reason I'm still in this site is thanks to the amazing creators they have
Hot take, but proxies... š¬. I do use them and find them very helpful, and I know they were added because JLLM isn't the best, and the LLM they use or used to use is too expensive... BUT there was a time when JLLM was amazing, and you didn't even need proxies. Now you absolutely need one, or your chats become insufferable. My issue with proxies is that the good ones are not free. Rightfully so, of course. But this is nothing more than a hobby and something to do when I am not busy. Living on my own with rent and bills all on me leaves me with no extra money to waste on here. Not that I'd pay for a proxy anyway, but had they never been added... we'd all be stuck with the same experience and would just learn to cope LMFAOOOš¤£
Probably when they made it so you can reply to comments. At first the site felt impersonal, like people were genuinely there to use your bots and only that, but then Janitor was trying so hard to become a social media platform. Sure Iām happy I can reply to my comments but at the same time there was this simplicity to only being able to respond to one comment with a weird @user, sorry youāre having trouble with the LLM! Barely any judgement and if there was? Boom, comment gone and no drama šš. And thatās it š¤£ such a classic and I miss it because it was a chill kinda vibe. Then there was the whole āno nsfw pictures for bots!ā I was like HELL YA finally not a porno looking website šš but then everyone was complaining about it, which everyone has their own views and opinions! But idk janitor seemed more like a porn websiteā¦ like cmon ppl the website gives you the ability to make real cool content with well developed characters that can expand on so much fr. All this to say, janitor shit the bed when they made it a social media website ong
almost everything janitor does. the shadowban, the lies, the favoritism, the sarcasm over the announcements, the updates being always to worse and rarely to better, the lack of support on the actual site, many things to improve yet
