I just don't understand why they'd canonically bring someone who only joined like 6 months ago / is one of the newest members (along with Micah and Charles) unless there were some kind of push for it; even if they needed a woman to put on some kind of show, Mary Beth and/or Karen seem like the better option for that seeing as they're both good at acting as needed and they've been with the gang much longer. Jenny's join entry is shared with Micah's in game, so they were probably picked up within the same short time period seeing as Arthur writes entries frequently (in BLe I make them only two days apart, because I want them both to feel like outcasts amongst an established family to force them to bond), so with my idea of them being close, I liked the idea of her trying to convince Micah more than Dutch to let her join, especially since it's his plan. Idk.
