I’m honestly a bit biased because dream is my favourite unit, but I think they’re the most talented (through their growth in all these years)
But I think that sm really lucked out with them
Having them debut so young and all of them working so hard to grow as idols throughout their career really paid off
Like imagine being a 10 year old veteran group with no military service active yet
The same age as 4th gen
Relevant popularity
And what most groups vie for
A strong korean fanbase
I really hope sm makes the most of dream and their music in the coming 2 years before military starts
Ofc much love to 127 as well I do enjoy a lot of their music
But it’s just a different tastes thing
Because I started being a fan when I was young and dream was closer to my age
Made me feel like I grew up with them
So their songs hit with the coming of age stuff for me
while i love him so much im not happy they were debuted so young even if yeah the current bonus of having 10yrs and still being a couple yrs from military service hiatus is nice. especially regarding jisungie, the whole 'he's experiencing life for the first time~' moments are initially cute until im hit with the "no shit he does not know that when his parents shelved him into sm at such a ridiculously young age" i wish kpop didnt debut minors, case closed, and if being a trainee since young, best have it treated like an extraricular yk? not the hours and hours of training they get on the daily, i believe they did something like this for sakuya and ryo??
while i do hope sm does not neglect them leading to the military hiatus (as they did with 127) they better not do yearly world tours. ever again. and i hope lele junie and haechanie can also keep doing their solo stuff and nomin their duo, ji could keep acting tho we ofc havent seen how he's done with it yet. i really wish sm by some miracle learns to manage all units and solos properly orz a girl can dream.
im a coule years older than 00liners so for me its more of a 'ive seen you grow up' which does make me extra fond of them asdfgh like when mark left the only tears i shed over it were because of that, the feeling of 'omg i've seen you grow up and youre leaving the nest' kinda vibes.
