The Vocaloid fandom post Mesmerizer boom has been an utter nightmare. It's been nothing but "teto is fat" and "pear teto" memes or "the yellow one who wasn't in Mesmerizer" referring to Akita Neru.

Also I want to tear my hair out every time somebody mentions that Ace from PPG was in Gorillaz like shut up, shut the fuck up. Is there anything you can say about this character that doesn't bring up the short time he was in Gorillaz???? Anything??? I guess there was this YT video circling around recently that talked about "the grooming episode" of PPG. Now I'm afraid that Ace fanartists are gonna get a bombardment of "umm didn't he groom a minor?" comments.

Dude, I could go on and on about how unfair it is that Nessjeff is as unpopular as it is. A lot of the good stuff was made back in the early-mid 2010's but pretty much all the artists have since moved on. Sometimes I just get really tired of seeing Nesscas EVERYWHERE. It's extra weird because I see more stuff with Lloyd x Ninten from Mother 1....Despite Lloydten and Nessjeff literally having nearly the exact same dynamic and appeal.

Honestly I barely played Mother 1, I got to the part with the rocket factory and just quit. I don't have a strong connection or interest in the characters as much as I do for 2 and 3. Everything I did like about M1 was done much better in M2 and that includes the how the main kids are designed and characterized. If you ever wondered why I don't post Mother 1 fanart often, that's why.
