"Lasers & Feelings" is pretty well-made for the format. the thing is that one page TRPGs kind of can't be all that complex, so real gameplay (or at least the kind i'm looking for) is often thrown out the window. but if you need to sell an idea on how to roleplay, working with a one-pager is a good way to do it. you won't be using many hard and fast rules anyway, as far as i figure. it's not my kind of thing, but i don't dislike it

So I've made a race of aliens. They're psychic amphibians that control large warrior mechs by psychically pumping a mucus that they can secrete in crazy amounts (like if a hagfish was the size of a human, imagine how much slime it could produce) to work as a kind of hydraulic control system. And the mechs are fuckin fat bc they have a whole lot of slime deposits that also work as armor against ballistics. Anyway you can see that shit on my bsky. I haven't figured out what the cockpit looks like, but I imagine it's very wet and slimy.
