do you overthink random, silly questions?
Yes. As one does. (it is the way)
not really i haven't really been asking many questions on here yet. i used to ask a lot of really wacky questions on retrospring. i need to start doing that again
I feel like I am not on a platform like this to just have silly little one-offs, I like to take whatever people ask me seriously and consider a proper reply for it even if I am not very knowledgeable about the thing they ask me about. Also I am willing to go far for a bit, so even if it is a silly question I might extract more value out of it by giving a more elaborate or obstruct reply than the questioner ever expected (or wanted).
I guess I'm just committed to the bit or something.
(also adhd and anxiety maybe I guess)
((although I do really just love answering questions too))
(((and the longer I consider some things the more thoughts I have about it)))
((((also I consider doing writing like, at least as a primary hobby, if not a career, and I noticed that I became more and more wordy the longer I've been doing this))))
(((((all in all I guess a lot comes together to make my replies this wordy)))))
((((((I'm starting to loose count of the number of parenthesis))))))
sometimes the random, silly questions are the most fun to overthink
sometimes I catch that the silly question is indeed silly, and answer in such a way as to continue the bit
A lot of the time my neuro-divergent tush is so exacting and precise with the way that I want to express myself that I can't pobsibly answer a question properly unless I've covered for every facet of it, digging down into my truest feelings trying to arrive at my one true answer. An answer so true that it becomes supernaturally true, almost unuseably so. And after getting so lost in the minutiae and waxing philosophical about something as benign as, like, preferred colors for bowls or something I finish at last, let out a sigh of content completeness, satisfied that I have answered the question as emphatically and genuinely as I pobsibly could... only to get hit with the "well actually I meant [xyz]" from the asker and have to repeat the process once more! 💥💥💥
Every single time.
