I love how Ena is someone who worries a lot about the people around her and that concern has a very harsh approach to it, so I think if they were to date it would be go badly with kanade who loves neglecting herself and the few times she was shown to be angry or upset is when someone pulled her out of a self harm spiral. But the most important part of their dynamic for me is kanade being one of the first people to genuinely recognize the value in ena’s art (or the only one who compliments her outright) and being aware of how reliant ena’s subpar self esteem is on her praise and instead of addressing on unhealthy that is or helping ena realize that she is the only one who saved herself Kanade sort of positions herself as the one who’ll keep seeing praising her artwork forever
