do you worry about ticks living in the woods
they are an inevitable aspect of spring/summertime, and I always have to decimate a few crawling around my clothes after a walk or run or sit in the grass or anything! They are unpleasant and scary to encounter, but simultaneously mundane! I wear socks that go up to my knees in the summer generally, and long skirts, so I rarely encounter a BITE, merely crawling along fabric... whim & I perform tick checks on each other after spending some time in the grass. By necessity one should worry about them, eh....
In a way I look forward to the emergence of mosquito and other bugs... winter silences and stills almost everything out here, for almost half the year. I accept the things that want to bite me... I need only do my best to be responsible. more than I'm worried about ticks, I'm, excited about grasshoppers, caterpillars, bumblebees, dragonflies, frogs, everything else I'll get to see while laying in the grass.
here is interesting footage of crows removing ticks from other animals!!->
