any tips for drawing/composing backgrounds? i'm having a difficult time imitating, recreating and understanding others when it comes to it. what is the key? enlighten me please, I love how you draw and pose characters in front of a beautiful background

I'll reply with something I made in 2019 to discuss how I do backgrounds,
it's sloppy and ugly but... still more or less how I do it....
