It would depend on a lot of factors, suchas what sort of scenery or environment, the design of the character, etc. For things outside of my usual formats, I do individualized quotes after hearing your prompt and seeing your design.

I generally don't actually take single solo illustration commissions, because I prefer to explore designs or worlds more comprehensively. I'll always have to do a lot of warmups to rotate a design before I do ANY commission, so it's not cost or time efficient for me to do single, solo compositions. I prefer to really 'get to know' the design via pages, or across multiple canvases. I've got some natural inclination to do everything in 'batches'...

but I'm not fully opposed to the concept of an occasional one-off, so I always encourage poking me.
