Tbh most slasher movies aren’t necessary to watch to make a slasher fic, they’re literally just “Kill people” and sometimes it’s a costumed person or an undead dude coming back to murder campers. A camp setting is usually the go-to slasher fics I think, I don’t actually read a lot of them
