Ummm, I don’t know tbh. I’ve only ever deleted a few stories, so I don’t tend to delete them anyway. I think maybe if it was shared in private then I would be understanding, but if it was like shared publicly then I wouldn’t like that, since I took the story down for a reason. Does that make sense? Like, sharing it in dm’s with your friends is different to sharing it on a gdrive (or even worse, ao3) with everyone on the timeline, especially since then I’d have no control over it even if I wrote it. Ultimately, what people share in dm’s… no author would even know 😅 I hope that makes sense!
