That's so scary, this Ganesh person, the one who made the site, its probably involved with the hacking attack. They stole works that people posted for free and tried to profit from it.
I saw what happened too and it's honestly terrifying. Beyond being so invasive, it's also illegal because fanfiction can't be used for profit. People shared those works for free, not to have them scraped and monetized. We're all on that platform so this affects the whole community, but I hope the situation gets resolved as soon as possible :(
