i know the traveler fanservice bait soured your opinion on the 5.3 LR but it really was so good. i unfortunately didn't think the newest LR matched it in terms of writing quality even though i still liked it. hu tao's character is amazing and she really is someone's favourite in the hoyo hq because a huge amount of care that went into building on her grief and resolve and the interactions she had with other characters (zhl and bzh in particular) and that bridge scene with zhl packed so much in its subtext and was so appropriate for how both their characters would handle a conversation in that specific situation before self sacrifice it was definitely among their best work. i just didn't like how they handled xiao but that's about it
