hi... i don't know if you still remember me, but whatever it was that we had, whatever we never really got to put a name on, meant so much to me. it's funny how something that only lasted for a month could leave me with so many things to miss, even long after it's over
i miss you. maybe you've moved on, maybe i'm just a distant memory you don't even think about anymore, and maybe the things that once meant so much to me were just another fleeting moment in your life
i wonder what season you're in now. has time been kind to you? has it brought you somewhere better, somewhere far away from everything we used to be? i wonder if the memories of us still cross your mind sometimes, or if they've completely faded into something you barely remember. because as much as i wish i could say the same, i still remember you in the smallest things
i know we were never promised forever, and i know i probably shouldn't be holding on to something that was never really mine to begin with. but i can't help wishing things had turned out differently. i wish i could go back to that little piece of time when you were still around, when talking to you felt like home, and when i didn't have to wonder whether you still remembered me
i miss talking to you, i miss your presence, and i miss the version of life where you were still a part of it. and if you've already forgotten all about me, i hope you know that, for what it's worth, there was someone who genuinely wished she could've kept you around a little longer, i wish i could tell you all of this without feeling like i'm reaching for someone who's no longer looking back. but i guess some people are meant to be missed from afar
i hope you're doing well, wherever life has taken you ya. i hope you're happy, even if i'm no longer someone you think of when you are. and if you ever happen to remember me, i hope it's with the same warmth i still have whenever i think of you
lily
hi, lily. it’s been months since the last time i talk to you. i still remember you of course, in fact when i look at the sea and blooming flowers sometimes i think about how i used to send you pictures of them.
i went to the beach today. it’s only two station away from my house. i sat by the cliff while watching the sparkles on the waves. it’s so beautiful and i think of you.
i lied on the rocks in the beach shore while listening to sufjan stevens, and my heart aches a little.
every time i think of you, i feel guilty and feel so fucking stupid. you probably hate me now, and that’s understandable.
i miss your presence too. i hope you’re doing well, ly. i hope the sun shines on you but not too bright that it burned your skin, but just feel right to warm you. i hope the wind come to you gently. i hope the water can wash your sorrow and sadness. i hope the flowers bloom every time you walk near them. i hope the birds sing ever time you feel lonely. most importantly, i hope you’re always happy and feel loved.
