I also have horrific trauma due to sexual abuse/rape I suffered for almost five years of my life bc of my older sibling, and I cope by not wanting to see that on my timeline and hoping that muting the word will actually work and protect me from seeing things that send me into horrible flashbacks and panic attacks. I am not shitting on anyone, or telling anyone they are wrong for coping the way they do, but /I/ personally don't want to see it, and that shouldn't be a controversial take?
