and oh WOW YES, wei's hunger for understanding cheng makes him go along with the whole thing, like maybe - after cheng fucks him and fills him with his offspring - wei has understood that he has been contaminated with something foreign... and according to his space scientists "code of conduct" he really should get rid of cheng and off himself - so he doesn't bring anything along with the ship back, BUT HE DOESN'T. He's tooo fucking curious. and cheng takes so well care of him too. so he's just like, swimming around in this happy soft haze of getting pampered, and learning to communicate with cheng, while also getting to keep inspecting cheng. and maybe cheng is in his "normal" form, OR maybe cheng shifts, and takes on different forms. and that's what even makes wei even more interested like "what the fuck ARE YOU?"... because once he thinks he has figured out cheng, cheng takes on a new shape - and that throws wei off once again. this is starting to make me think of "little mushroom" HAHA
anyway, there are a few ways this could go... it could take a dark turn, because ALIENS, or it could take a soft turn,,,, the dark turn is that once the "alien babies" are fully grown, it's time for them to come out. and it might not be a pretty exit, maybe they actually eat up their host??? and maybe the ship is set to return to earth and brings this species to earth and well, byebye earth......
OR the babies have somehow built a space inside him, and maybe his reproductive organs are reshaped somehow to provide an exit without hurting the host. and then they have to take care of these offspring together??? ok no idea HAHAHA i'm starting to lose the thread now i think maybe

I love this concept so much, because it almost feels like the saying, āCuriosity killed the catā. WeiWeiās curiosity comes at the expense of his autonomy or womb. While I do love the horrific idea of their offspring devouring WeiWei entirely, harsher endings are too much for meš But I do believe Chi Cheng and WeiWei would be faced with a very difficult decision. Likeā¦would WeiWei be forced to go live in the place Chi Cheng comes fromā¦or will they decide to return to earth. Like you said by code of conduct WeiWei should have destroyed himself as well as Chi Cheng. So if he turns back up to earth, arriving with an alien and having his womb as well infested with the aliens offspringā¦then I wonder what would happen? It couldnāt be as simple as returning back to normalā¦society would ostracize them, and conduct experiments, or maybe even use them as profit! If that were the case, I feel maybe WeiWei would feel almost possessive not only over his own being, but also Chi Chengs. Maybe he canāt stand the idea of others experimenting and studying Chi Cheng. He feels maybe a deep since of ownership of him, especially since heās the one who has sacrificed so much to study him, so if anyone can form some sense of understanding of what Chi Cheng is, then it should be him.
