Oooooh this is a interesting one! I'd like to say alot of the aesthetic of 90s japanese computer games (Like the pc98), Mega man, and the whole mindset of "If there isnt much content of this topic/character, i'll make it myself!!" (Cough cough.. childhood game lbp)
What got me into more pixelated works was OFF surprisingly. Since i was a dumb preteen and younger, i LOVE surreal and horror things!! I love the weird and nonsensical nature of the certain things! I'm getting side tracked but ... yeah! :3

TLDR: Alot of things, especially my interest in games and the especially the aesthetic of the 90s/80s!
