The Halcyon Circle
Founded after World War I by returning Whitelock alumni who sought to restore optimism and artistry to postwar America, The Halcyon Circle became Whitelock’s oldest cultural and humanitarian organization. Members are usually leaders in art, literature, music, and social justice initiatives. They organize the annual Halcyon Gala, a breathtaking event known for its fusion of charity, art exhibitions, and orchestral performances.

The Echelon Society
Initially formed by students protesting for fair scholarships, The Echelon Society has evolved into Whitelock’s premier leadership and equality advocacy group. Its membership spans from top academic achievers to athletes and activists. The society focuses on mentorship, inclusion, and reform, though many say it still harbours quiet rivalries with The Sigil, whom they accuse of “preserving elitism.”
