The best way to improve a skill is to keep using it—even if you're not satisfied with what you write, do it anyway. Constant exposure to the craft will teach you what works for you and your writing partner, and you'll learn how to adjust along the way.

If you're worried about grammar, semantics, and vocabulary—I'm not particular about those. What's more important is that we understand each other. But if you do want to improve them, the best way is to consume art. Read books. Watch movies. Let those offer you new perspectives and concepts you can use to express yourself.
