That IS an interesting question! Thank you! | don't mind the decision of making them take place in the same world, since that has been a thing since the start. But l'm really not a fan of the way they made babycakes into the professor brothers freind/ drinking buddy.. gummy world is a great episode but l seriously dont understand why they had to retconn Steve into being BC's childhood friend... Ideally for me I think keeping them all in the same continuity is fine, just keep their stories separate besides small interactions with baby cakes (as purely a student). I think the pilot did this the best, I wish we lived in a universe where the whole show was like the pilot. & my issues with how babycakes was handled in the main show does not come from wanting less of him fyi, he's my second favorite I just think his role in the group is odd... he should've been doing his own thing & Leonard should've been part of the main group, just like the shorts
