Question for my darling bot creators! Specifically those who worked on bot series.

What’s your process while building the story, lore, world, etc? I’m currently reworking my university series but have no idea where to even start so any tips would be appreciated! :3

I usually just write the lore as I go. Like I create a bot, and then I make another bot and think they'd be cool in the same universe. And from there I create a universe. The only exception is my sci fi series. For that one, I already had a setting idea before creating characters.

for me, I lowkey create all the characters first. its helps me properly form their relationships with eachother, where they might hang out (helps with world building), etc.

another thing I use to help me keep track and create the overall world for my series' are the websites Notion/CharacterHub.

First generally it's when i start a bot, i'm like "sht but i gotta do a serie abt that can be cool" and then boom, i start to do lorebook (generally takes 2 weeks, I'm not productive heh); timeline, keywords, organisations of lore/ideas...
Stuff like that

My process is to build the world before I build the characters. I do this because I want the world to be important to the lore just as much as the characters are, especially for fictional worlds. Since lorebooks are a thing now, I want to rework my old series as well because so much information was left out due to token space, but I don't have to do that anymore. The only tip I have is don't be afraid to get creative in world-building. You can overdo it. Don't hinder your imagination. Let it run and sprint free. In my opinion, that's the best part of it. It's the most fun, too.

Idk what to help you with, I'm someone who doesn't dig deep in the lore, I just go along with whatever idea I have, I changed a lot of primary intros before posting my bots. I guess the most important part for me would be to figure out what type of vibe you're trying to go for.

Uhhhh i wonder hmmm would this be midnight scenario potential, and if it is i write a bot thats about it

For me idk how my fans even deal with me because I’m still writing my world building story and I have like 8 bots in the series so far. I just been creating as I go. But what I recommend start off with the world go a bit into the lore and use that as the foundations.

I dont got deep in stuff lore for specific characters is a tragic back story cuz i find it funnier I cant give you tips my bots dont get any traction or get seen by anyone but like 4 ppl
