helloooooooo guess who came back to gush!!!! i finished reading a while ago but needed some time to gather and organise my thoughts. gonna try my best to be coherent but i feel like a pile of mush (/pos) after reading that… couldn’t stop smiling the entire time i was reading it’s so serious to me
the pillow being a gift from hwc was such a cute detail :( and him picking up on the way ys was changing because of sleep habits improving like oougghhhhh i love secngscng sm :( i’m so curious how hwc figured snsng out though…
the spiral of the first night was written so well :( i could feel ys’ panic, and his reactions to the disrupt of a years long routine were so relatable. sn being concerned but not wanting to Say anything and freak him out more but still worrying about him is just :( i did giggle at him getting jealous of the hotel pillow after they woke up, a canon event 🙂↕️ still thinking about ys moving closer to sn when he woke up after the first time. they make me sick.
ys starting to subconsciously seek out sn as the fic progresses and associating his warmth and smell with comfort… the things they both got so shy over at the start just becoming a normal routine… im crazy…
i love love love how sn was so attentive to ys and did tiny little things to make him feel better, two that really stuck with me were him leaving the door open so it was less intimidating to go shower + do skincare cause sn knew the routine would help ys settle and relax, and also the granola bar :( he cares so much for his ysngie :(
them both having the exact same panicked reaction to the unexpected room swap (me too tho) and night Without the other made me insane like actually genuinely phone face down on my bed and scream into a pillow insane… especially after ys asked sn to sleep next to him again and the both of them just starting to take comfort in each other more publicly (like the details from the shows??? them gravitating towards each other naturally on stage??? and the members knowing ys is in good hands with sn??? i’m crazy) and knowing that they’re both relaxed and calm and feeling safe enough together to sleep Well and and and and then THE CONFESSION and gentle kisses at the end before they go sleep again with ys’ pillow keeping watch over them cause he doesn’t Need it anymore because he has sn head in hands they’re so cute :(((

i read this two times btw and this is my third time reading this and it just makes me so happy whenever i manage to make the prompt sender so happy with how i portrayed the work, hehe...
i loved everything you said, and i agree with everything. now, as for how hwc figured out ysng was getting better thanks to sn, i kind of figured well since hwc gave ysng the pillow, he may have known ysng is prone to being uncomfortable/have stressors/quietly suffers so he gave him something innocuous like the mochi plush, all because it reminds him of ysng and thought well, maybe it would help. sort of not implied much, but i hoped to like have it as if secngscng had a stronger bond (in homage to earlier secngscng days, i miss them so much) than before sn and ysng started having a bond. hmm, but i think i tried to have it to where the entire group knows that sn brings ysng so much comfort, even if sn always forces his way into ysng's space and makes sure he knows he's very loved and cared for, in true sn fashion. he's ysng's number one fan after all ;))
also happy you thought some parts were well done, i was a little nervous about the initial panic because i was about to go back and make it a little stronger, but i didn't think a full on meltdown would suffice. i think ysng would continue canonically (imo) to hide his stuff in silence, and sn and whoever else who knows him well would sniff it out well. so many bonus points to sn for being stubborn and taking care of ysng, omg... love him so bad I LOVE THEM SO BAD...
