Isabelle not wanting to kill Alec is so real. I relate to that a lot so it comforts me <3

That's part of what I aim for! The other part is just...sticking true to her character. Victims have a right to their rage, and I know revenge fantasies are common, but I just can't see it making any sense for Isabelle and her feelings for Alec.
