It depends cus I'd rather not receive a gift than a bday gift thats like.. late 😭?
It might sound spoilt but as the saying goes "actions speak louder than words" and to me that says I was an after thought :( I also don't care if the gift is $2, $200 or handmade, it's just nice to be appreciated one day a year!!
But if it's like, we planned to play a game and didn't get around to it for a while it's fine!!
