reserved my comments for your last ask. i agree with everything you said, so much so that i wish this weren’t anonymous so i could talk to you about it more bc i feel kinda crazy rn. there are certain factions of tmtville that live to sow discord and blow things out of proportion bc that is literally the only way they know how to perform fandom and it’s so grating when people follow them blindly without giving things a bit of thought themselves. like i’m sorry but i watched people’s opinions about the trailer shift in real time after a handful of accounts posted about it. i don’t think being upset with c5 is a crime and i’ll concede that if you think about it hard enough, there are ways his trailer could’ve been supplemented with more footage or whatever to align more closely with the rest of the group’s (if that’s something you really wanted to see) but to hijack the conversation to this extent is patently disrespectful to the work that ultimately was put forth and no amount of trying to hide behind “calling out mistreatment” will change that. i encourage everyone to go see how fucked the shotaro search rn. this is a point i’ve made time and time again. the preoccupation with finger wagging and performing outrage towards c5 will overshadow the boys’ work every. single. time. if expressing this opinion gets me labeled a bootlicker so be it. god knows i have no reason to be beholden to a bunch of faceless suits over shotaro. i love him dearly.

and regarding your analysis of his behavior in the live. well :) it was pretty clear to me that he had gotten into it with some staff bc he was repeatedly looking off camera and damn near rolling his eyes each time he did, i genuinely don’t think the subject matter of the convo had any bearing on how upset he was with them. it’s annoying to have people actively instructing you on what to say or do on camera.
