wbk ei is restrained, but i also like how she can lose her composure. impulsive and rash, rushing into things without thinking. the way she one-shotted orobashi and split that island in half as collateral damage out of pure rage, insane. or when she slayed all the abyssal creatures from inazuma bcs they devoured saiguu. she can be so emotionally driven when it comes to her loved ones, she cares so deeply and raw... her contradictions are truly charming. raiden shogun character story 3, we love you
OH ABSOLUTELYYYY she's a godly being, she has (had) no regard for mortal amounts of anything, from her powers to her feelings. she's on extreme ends of emotion, unaffected and completely stoic vs the centuries long remnants of her power literally poisoning an entire island and its waters because of her grief... the people hail her as a hero for her actions, but i don't think saving her people was her SOLE intention (altho it is her priority). she was so sad, she had to let it out somehow. oof.... and i mean, i get why ei got the response that she got when sq1 was released (cough,, relevant to current events concerning another godlike woman with moon symbolism cough) but it's this contrast that really makes me fall in love with ei. she's a god, yes. but she's so so prone to human folly too. and she makes her mistakes because she has so much love and she doesn't know how to handle it.
