I did see this. I always suspected Adonis' home country was never intended to be any specific real place. If I remember correctly, Akira made comments on SNS a long time ago about how his idea for Adonis' background was vague and something about the jungle? Which is obviously racist. I'm surprised they gave it a name at all. In that regard, I actually think this differentiates Adonis from the Amagis. Previously, they both belonged to completely unnamed fantasy cultures, inspired by the real world and laden with racist tropes. Now I guess Adonis' is actually named? That does not make it less racist, of course. Being more explicit about the fact it's a made-up place doesn't change the underlying issues.
