Literal bogus even if its just "a generic military outfit" STILL BAD?? LIKE MILITARIES ALWAYS EXIST TO SPREAD IMPERIALISM. "Its just japanese imperial wear" STILL FUCKING HORRIBLE. also another thing im pretty sure that thing on his neck looks. Alot like an iron cross. Idk im just an outsider to enstars i dont understand how people are defending this,. Im really sorry that you have to see shit this over characters you hold so dear...
While technically the modern Japanese military is only for "self defense" in accordance with the constitution (though some people would like to change that), it still upholds systems of oppression. That said, I really don't think this costume is generic or Japanese. It's evoking pretty specific imagery. Most people see this and think "Nazi" for a reason. Thank you for your condolences, but I'm immune to the desecration of the Enstars cast at this point. It's more mildly annoying than anything. I am admittedly appalled by the material, though.
