if u recall, sabi ni ww, familiar yung man na nagbigay ng invite; he's the same man na nagpaakyat kay ww sa penthouse ni mg (Photographs). he's part of the coven, one of those assigned by irene na magbantay kay mg. ang tingin kasi nila sa mga humans, supplier lang talaga ng dugo, so the man thought ww as such for mg. kaya ininvite din siya during the party--ww was there to provide blood, not as guest talaga. at that point ww doesn't matter enough to get rid of kasi to them, source lang talaga siya ng ~bl0od ni mg.
intentional and at the same time mg was trying to punish ww in a way. may tampo kasi talaga si mg sa proximity ni ww sa family ng dad niya, so he used that as an excuse to avoid ww, and at the same time pinapalipas niya yung lumalala niyang craving until after his ceremony. supposedly kasi, kung ano yung inabutan ni ww pagbalik sa ballroom, ganun yung mangyayari sa ceremony ni mg. partaking in bl0od until his cravings gets satiated.
to add, na cut short yung ceremony kasi papa kim managed to get in (hence that scene) so he put a stop to it, at the same time mg realized what was happening with ww.
a little spoiler: hindi na nagkita si ww & mg after ww was brought to the hospital until papa jeon whisked him away kasi mg was not in a state to be close to ww--hindi natapos yung ceremony niya, so his cravings were never satiated.
