some people on here acting like they aren’t cornier than maki is so- they just don’t like hearing how they sound😭😭they have no problem calling maki dada in comment sections or using the most obnoxious gifs- they got no problems having their humor be focused on what is by definition borderline harassment- and no issues with debating omegaverse to the point of reducing them to fit some projection they want em to be to then calling them by that in their own comment sections- but don’t dare ask the actual group about normal werewolf hierarchies, this fandom is so goofy bruh lmao
also the casual racism and misogyny toward both joy and lindsey is so uncomfortable
i hate holier than thou attitudes so i’m not necessarily putting any one individual down who does do any of that it’s just i cannot understand the lack of self awareness these people got
agree with everything u said! i think part of it is also that whenever they do english interviews especially people call a lot of things cringe because they can understand the questions/answers in the original tone … as if they don’t do this “cringe” (and i use cringe lightly here because it’s all in good fun TO ME… idk about others) werewolf roleplay/fanservice in kr or jp 24/7 as its just part of their concept and comes with being an idol. and i think thats why maki (and sometimes nico) catches an unfair amount of flak because he’s fluent in english and we understand the jokes exactly how they sound in english. but yeah lunés LITERALLY make the same exact jokes and worse which is why i think a lot of people are projecting when they call maki or the rest of the group cringe … ur either way too insecure to be as free in making jokes as they are or u make the same jokes and are afraid of being judged for it.
and to add to ur last point i totally agree. i’ve seen a ton of especially microaggressive comments towards joyce and nitpicking her harmless jokes… i wish people would take a second and try to think about how they sound when they say these things because a lot of u just sound racist/misogynistic. ur allowed to dislike the hosts for VALID reasons if u have them,, but the microaggressions + misogyny isn’t an excuse to hate on them.
