i’ve always been drawn to winged creatures. butterflies, birds, insects. which is the funniest thing, because ask anyone, and they’ll tell you i am absolutely terrified of flying or heights— but coughs. anyways. birds are surprisingly gentle and social, i like to hear them sing in the mornings. i love the softness of their feathers. i think there’s something wondrous about their freedom to fly and go as they please.
