What is the purpose of a boxikyn's chest wings? Do they serve any functional purpose or are they vestigial? (The placement seems a bit inconvenient).

idk i honestly just put them there because i hadn’t really seen anyone else do it before and i thought it looked pretty cool
i’ll eventually write something about this into their lore though as i develop it more
