hi, mx. shi! just wanted to express how much i love how you're writing almalw... it's so ache-y sometimes (the good kind!!) i have to pause, but so so wonderfully written. i love how you capture the subtleties that come with guilt, love both lost and persisting, family and the yearning for innocence/softness pag may bata na sa usapan. favorite ko si ligaya, i totally melt every time i read her texts and how she behaves T_T there's so much love and wisdom in her, i wanna protect her from everything too! same with joy :) ang galing ng pagka characterize nyo sa kanila ni cy. joy being super gentle, way less trusting but his big heart can't help himself from loving nonetheless... tapos si cy! cold-hearted ceo!cheols arent usually my cup of tea but there's something in how you write cy that makes me see his humanity underneath it all. excited to see more of his vulnerability and his insecurities :')) and how joy might see them too, one day. sooo excited to see how the next parts unfold huhu patawad na lang kung iyakan ko nang sobra if may mangyari kay bebe ligaya PLSSS noooo eme :DDD

grabeee huhu thank you so much for this message! it genuinely struck me in the best way. writing almalw has been a strange mix of heaviness and softness for me, so hearing that you felt those quiet aches (the good kind) means more to me than you know.
i’m really glad you noticed the subtleties :') the guilt, the love, the things we lose and the things we choose to hold on to… the small tremors that happen when family comes into the picture. yun talaga ang gusto ko na ipakita. and ligaya :((( my sweet girl huhu thank you for loving her. she carries so much hope and clarity without even realizing it, and i truly believe she heals people just by being herself.
as for joy and cy… thank you for seeing them the way i do. joy, with that gentleness he hides after being hurt for so long. and cy, with that cold exterior that always seems to crack when it comes to the people he loves. i’m so glad their humanity came through for you and i can’t wait for you to see more of their layers as the story unfolds! :)
