i didn’t know this chinese culture not until i started watching rl too. it was a roller coaster ride tbh and i solid say i feel the #SAME, bb!! we also have the same thought process in bl; i’ve watched thai bls but it was meh for me, the first series i tried (that i really really loved) was 2gether the series, it hooked me like how revenged love hooked me since then i jump into more thai bls but they were so lame and boring (i’m sorry, it’s a preference) if it’s not their face cards then it’s the plot— the whole sex plot, they were like just fucking here and there until they’re fucking inlove to the point they having some plot holes so i dropped it, thai bl’s not for me.

then ayun nga, ive heard about yizhan cp from a friend but i never tried watching it since im not into historical drama (but ive tried it now and joined the yizhan culture bc of their lore) together with revenged love!

rl is full of flaws actually, it contains a lot of disturbing plots that has been changed and toned down. the rl alone is so good, and same as you SUPER LOVE KO SILA AS CHENGWEI TT then the behind the scenes dropped, their chemistry is so strong that i had to also love them as tianziyu. siguro nga if this is just about the series, you will leave after the ep 24 bc that alone is so freaking disappointing (bc of director’s cut) but if u decided to watch the bts then you’ll surely tune in with them not as chengwei but tianziyu.

and maybe this is what china really has to work on. they make good bls but censor it that makes the actors not interacting in big ass years after airing their series, it sucks tbh. sobrang attached din ako sa revenged love but i became more invested in the actors themselves, that’s the real chemistry btw. and i think this is the push and pull effect where they freaking pull us by not interacting but giving us signs that they’re still together. kaya masasabi kong GOAT ang revenged love and rl bts bc up until now they’re the talk of the whole damn town. ‘wag na lang tayong mag move on siguro?
