I recently discovered MFC and I just want to say, the hospital scene where weiwei woke up, for some reason, tears me up because it reminds me of the days that my dad was in the ICU and he won't let go of my hand. My dad's gone now...but reading it from MFC's perspective makes that memory bittersweet now. It used to stir complicated feelings for me, for personal reasons. Thank you for putting a new meaning on my personal memory thru your wonderful writing.
