the hotel they went to in vietnam was a family and popular tourist attraction hotel, and has a lot of family suites including rooms with two single beds. my point is, he didnt do everything he did with yoojun, with beomgyu too. soogyuists wanted to believe so but there are so many instances that actually different between them.
also to answer your concern about kai, yes he never sent as many weverse dms before, he had even went a full month without dms at all. he did occasionally replied to weverse posts though. but the reason he suddenly became way too active on his dms was because there has been a constant complaint since a few months before the drunk friend scandal happened, mostly his korean fanbase were questioning why was he always on his phone in behind content but could never update dms, which is a paid service that his fans subsribed. the complaint got even bigger after the scandal broke since his fans felt even more betrayed that he could have a 'girlfriend' and also played games and be on his phone 24/7 but couldn't come on weverse dms. pretty sure before some of his fans left, they also left messages of disappointment and hoping he would do better as an artist in his dms after the scandal broke.
no i meant how do you know that he's never slept on the same bed with him any other time they've traveled? lol absence of proof isn't proof of absence. i agree soobin and yoojun's relationship looks gayer than soogyu's even if you remove the "probably done for fanservice" context for soogyu, but the evidence is actually categorically similar...
and yeah i know about the timeline of kai's messages and the complaints about it, i just wasn't sure if kai was being forced into doing it after the "scandal" as punishment or if for some reason he had wanted to send more messages and was being stopped lol (idk why they'd want to do that but they also didn't let him and taehyun open instagram accounts earlier so who the fuck knows what the hell they think they're doing)
