My day just got ruined... I found out that the creator of Haunting Adeline is planning on making a movie adaption of both books... That's so fucked up of her. What's wrong with that woman. She's married with a child...
What are your opinions of dark romance books about stalking, kidnapping and raping women? I think it's sick and disgusting and it makes me feel ashamed of being a human being. Glorifying and sexualizing a traumatic experience... How wrong...
it'd be pretty hypocritical of me to call someone out for that since i make bots that get close to those topics too, but ngl it grosses me out that ppl actually love Haunting Adeline and are into that kinda stuff and even buy it. tbh i hate pretty much every straight dark romance 😭 it just makes me cringe, especially that book. i listened to the Little Stranger audiobook and omg it was one of the worst things i've ever heard/read, it was awful
