I have not written any of the smut yet but I can say with certainty that the happy trail WILL make a comeback (would it be an ocean fic if it didn't?). Though I have to admit that this ask sent me down a rabbit hole because I hadn't researched this... It seems like shaving was a sign of wealth for upper-class women, but nothing mentioned about men's grooming habits, so I think the happy trail is safe!!
