pidge started off as a nameless, reserved worker drone who used to live an isolated life in the bunker rooms and storage of outpost-3, hidden away fearing outside dangers and avoiding most other WDs. during this she learned and found her interests through the leftover belongings and rooms that were once inhabited by the humans before they were all wiped out.
after many years of living like a hermit pidge grew very bored and tried to venture more outside the outpost, nearly gets killed by a disassembly drone (mimi) but manages to live by desperately offering that she'll lead them to more WDs to eat if they let her go. she goes back into hiding for a while after such betrayal against her own drone kind, but much later realizes that other WDs are still alive... she tries to go out again thinking maybe they were able to kill the DD. she decides to attend to one of the class sessions and to her surprise she sees that same DD she led in... clinging and cuddling up against the teacher.
as she tries to blend in with the rest of drone society she would often get teased by classmates to see if they could get her to talk more as she was still quiet and mainly kept to herself, after all she still couldn't properly introduce herself. it wasn't until somedrone noticed her hair colors looked very similar to the feathers of the birds she was so interested in reading about during class and nicknamed her Pidge... she quickly grew to like this name for herself and stuck to it.
over time she opens up more and makes friends while also finding herself in trouble a lot with the DDs as her aroused curiosity gets the best of her... anyway's that's the shorter version of pidge lore
